Bio
Robert LeBlanc's work is marked by uncommon intensity and immediacy, the product of a career spent documenting raw corners from a position of extreme closeness. His projects are often the result of years of trust-building, and he has built a practice of finding and gaining intimate access to an undiscovered and revelatory slice of life.
His book Unlawful Conduct was in leading art bookstores, including MoMA PS1 and the Frye Art Museum. His latest book, A New America, is a panoramic exploration of daily life and the wild fringes of a country in uncommon times, seen with an uncommon lens.

Clearly Concealed | View on Foundation
Clearly Concealed is a series of portraits taken from behind each individual. Even though each person's identity is kept hidden, it's easy to identify their personalities through their choices of clothing, jewelry, headwear, and tattoos. Clearly Concealed thrives on our imaginations and inspires viewers to develop their own narratives of our unidentifiable individuals. The series will be an ongoing project created throughout 2022, consisting of 100 portraits in total.
