Quintavius Oliver is an Atlanta based fine art and documentary photographer who uses his engaging portraits as a means of self exploration and sensitive storytelling. He acquired his first camera at the age of six from his grandmother and immediately began to document his ever expanding world without a second thought. Completely self taught, Quintavius continues to document and articulate the world & people around him on little strips of film, every day.

When I first landed in Havana all those years ago, I had no idea that I was stepping into a place that would become like a second home to me nor did I understand that the people I'd meet would become like the family I never had. This story is comprised of hundreds of rolls of film shot over several years with friends and family in Havana. This collection is my tribute to them and I can't wait to return to share this love with them, again.
This collection will contain 20 photos, total.
When I held my daughter in my arms for the first time, I understood true love. In that moment, I became whole and finally aware of my purpose. Of course, nothing could've prepared me for this journey in discovery, creativity, patience, & laughter; especially as I navigated through as a full time single father. Raising a little girl on my own was anything but easy. Connecting with other parents & learning with them through photography along the way has been remarkably enlightening & refreshing.
