Hi there! My name is Tommy Lei, a fine modern photographer based in Los Angeles. My photography work stems from a fervent desire to beautify the mundane and uncover the everyday unseen.
I capture is to elevate the everyday, whether it’s people or natural landscapes. My compositions give a sense of calm, harmony and balance. I am bullish on egalitarianism; equality, achievable within a framed lens.
My wide range of captivating, limited-edition works are collected from coast to coast as well as other countries including Canada, France, and South Korea.

InfraRED is my call to action to preserve the world around us through photography. The conception of this collection is stemmed from my artist journey, that feeling of loneliness and invisibility along the way. I wanted to make my NFT debut as bold as possible, hence the color red being splashed all over. It is also my way of seeing and elevating the unseen.
Mise En Stills is a cinematic take on everyday life moments in still motion. These images span across a decade of travel to my present work. It will be an ongoing visual diary of my journey as a fine modern photographer. Above all, it is my version of visual therapy through photography; a reminder that life is always so beautiful, yet so ephemeral.
A series of ten 1 of 1 mountain landscape photos taken off the freeway by Palm Desert. These images were taken from the passenger side as we drove through the mountainous desert scape, in one consecutive take. Each snap is a gentle reminder of how fleeting our natural environments are to climate change. Forest fires, those that plague our beloved California coastlines and valleys every year are insurmountable evidence of that. 20% of net proceeds generated from the sale of this series will be donated toward Wildfire Relief.
