Street/Documentary photographer who shoots with an emphasis on intimate interactions with the people of my city. Using flash is a very important aspect of my work.

This collection of images is a part of a project I started on August 14th, 2018. With this project, my goal was to give a very intimate experience with strangers in the city of Houston.
Each portrait in this collection has a corresponding notebook page written on by the person in the photo. When giving my notebook to these strangers I offer little to no direction so they may express themselves as freely as they are willing to.
A photo of a stranger on the street can sometimes feel like nothing more than that. With each stranger's handwriting and their own choice of words on paper, I felt I was able to connect on a deeper level with them. I hope others are able to do the same.
