Fuck it! | View on OpenSea
Life can be a shitshow sometimes, a small event can quickly snowball into a disaster. After getting beat up and beat down and having life pile up on top of you.
There comes a point in time when you are no longer care about the outcome because you've hit rock bottom. Things can't possibly get worse... Well sometimes they can and then sometimes you just stop caring and you say FUCK IT!
This collection was created to toss up my middle fingers at all the social media I'm supposed to maintain, all the jobs I'm supposed to work all the money I'm supposed to make. The life I'm supposed to live is much easier said than done. I'm fed up with this systematic approach to life. So Fuck it Life! Let me and my love be free from your stupid system.
Cloud Surfer | Cloud Surfer On OpenSea
There's nothing like the feeling of sending your drone into the fog. Knowing very well this could be its last flight.
Flying blind into the sky, barely being able to see in front of you, you stare at the blank grey screen as you continue to elevate. The feeling you get when you break through the ceiling of the clouds is something words can't describe. The light shines through the final layers of mist and in this moment all your stress goes away. It is just you and the sky over a sea of clouds.
This collection showcases the most memorable moments during my drone photography career. I remember every single flight as if I was still there holding my controller right now. The amount of joy and excitement capturing these moments brought me will never be forgotten. In these moments I can say I was 100% truly happy.
Boats Boats Boats | View on OpenSea
Sitting by the water I'm at ease. Listening to the waves crash up against the shore it's like white noise. Looking out on the horizon and seeing all these tiny little boats in the distance, I definitely need to share.
Stuck on the shore the only way to explore such waters is from the sky. Sending the drone in you can hop from one boat to the next without limitations. I tend to keep a distance for everyone's privacy but I just enjoy watching them fly through the water and the ripple of waves they leave behind.
This collection was created to emphasize the calming feeling being on the water brings.
Rawrsome | Rawrsome on OpenSea
Following the Fuck it Collection, Rawrsome was created as a meme collection mocking my Instagram account.
I always found I put a lot of effort into my photography finding the coolest locations, spending hours editing and when you put it out there the algorithm says HARD NOPE. Because it's not mountains, fog, or 1 of 20 locations in the world, sorry if I live in suburban Ontario internet. I gotta do with what I got.
So in spite of my location barrier, I shoved my best friend into a Dino suit in the middle of a heatwave and told him to do the Dino pose. I took a regular old plaza and turned it into an urban jurassic park. My followers on the internet loved these, I'm hoping others will too. This was by far my funniest shoot and most memorable shooting day and these shots were so fun to edit.
Giant Monsters | Giant Monsters On OpenSea
There are giants among us. Hidden in plain sight they camouflage themselves into their surroundings and can only be seen from the sky.
Finding them is the relatively easy part, capturing them is where the challenge begins. Each one presents its own unique difficulties, each one has a unique story to tell. I'm just the explorer and these are my discoveries.
Lost Planes | Lost Planes on OpenSea
The quest for flight has been an ongoing effort for many centuries. humans have tried to fly just like the birds with little to no success until the invention of the airplane. Many planes over the years took flight, and either crashed or were discarded and stripped for parts.
After seeing a post on Instagram of a crash-landed plane I knew I needed to find some of my own. I started with the famous ones around the world, Iceland, Bahamas, Alaska. All well-documented crashes, but they were far and Covid was preventing travel. With the help of some aviation records I found planes converted into statues, abandoned airstrips, scrap yards, you name it I found it. I started to pin my map and plan my attack, each plane has a unique story attached to it.
Maze Hacker | View on OpenSea
Many decisions in your life led you to where you currently are. Walking into a maze, time becomes irrelevant. Your next move could be life-changing. Sometimes going backwards is essential to move forward. You never know what is going to be around the corner.
Unless you hack the system and look at a 2D problem from a 3D perspective. Sometimes bending the rules is the only way to succeed.
