Bjarki Jóhannsson (b. 1997) is a fulltime drone photographer and filmmaker from Iceland. He grew up in a small fishing village in East Iceland but now lives in Keflavik, near the International airport.
He loves to explore new areas with a drone and to show people a side of Iceland that has never been seen before.
He is also a private pilot so he does a lot of aircraft photographing with a drone. He is known for his top-down images of aircraft at Keflavik International Airport and was the first drone photographer to capture an aerial photo of an aircraft from Play Airlines fleet.
This is Bjarki's journey of portraying Earths art from a perspective that you cannot normally see and will usually be missed by most of people. Iceland is more than just waterfalls and geysers, so in this collection you will see rare places which hold extraordinary art pieces made out of geothermal clay, captured with a drone. Terra Artem which translates to "Earth Art" in Latin is a 16 piece photography collection from abstract geothermal places in Iceland. Some of the places are hidden and have never been photographed before.
AOG is a collection of 9 various aircraft around Iceland, with most being photographed at the Keflavik International Airport. Since Bjarki moved near the airport, he got in love with aviation and studied for becoming a pilot. AOG is a "two for one" collection as there are minted videos with sound design that are included with 8/9 pieces.
6 of the 9 aircraft are fully operational.
