Photography provides a form of meditation for macro photographer Renée Campbell - time to explore the world around her. Renée’s love of this art form began when she first picked up a camera in 1994. Her works have featured in group and solo shows across her hometown of Sydney, Australia and also in New York, USA (including at Sotheby’s). After a lengthy break to focus on her health and family, Renée has returned to her craft and the art scene, recently finding her way into NFT’s and new local exhibits. “My work is a meditative search for beauty in the macro world of flowers.”

-We are born from storms. We shine bright because we are rainbows-
This collection is a study of phalaenopsis orchids. It was born from a need to photograph blues and purples, but orchids come in so many colours, it quickly became a rainbow. Everything happens for a reason and this collection formed because I had something to say. I live with pain and fatigue every day but that doesn’t stop me dreaming for a brighter future and getting back up whenever I can. We all have struggles but it’s how we react to them that matters. The biggest storms produce the most beautiful rainbows. We are all rainbows, and we shine bright in all our colours.
Foundation is the home for Renée's favourite pieces from 2021 and 2022. Only Renée's most special and valued pieces appear on Foundation.
Petale is the first collection of images Renée has minted on the blockchain. As a sufferer of chronic migraines, Renée is mostly limited to her home. By focusing her attention on flowers she was able to explore the world around her finding beauty in the ordinary that is often overlooked. Art is her communication with the world. Spending hours exploring a single flower she focuses on each blossom or leaf until she finds points of distinction, where a balance between form, colour, light and detail bring a sense of calm.
Homegrown is Renée's second collection. Almost a love letter to the music she loves, these homegrown irises were carefully paired with a song and artist that is special to her offering up a more personal insight into her world. Each song used holds the origin to the title of each photograph giving a connection to the two forever. Although sold out, there are pieces available on secondary.
This Is Renée's charity collection. A small collection of 4 images for sale to raise money for Ukraine relief. All pieces have sold and 100% of sales have been donated to Direct Relief.
After realizing the difficulty in buying some of the art she loved from fellow artists, Renée decided to create editions offered at a lower price point so anyone who wanted one of her photographs would be able to afford it. A new piece is only added when the last piece sells and each new piece increases in edition numbers so the art that came before is more rare. The first piece, We Have Each Other is sold out with some available on secondary and the second piece, No Place Or Time has been newly added to the collection.
